Nigeria Army Recruitment Qualifications

  • All applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth.
  • Height must be above 1.68m for male and 1.65m for female
  • Applicants must be medically and physically fit for the recruitment
  • Applicants must get a criminal conviction(s) from court of law
  • All eligible applicants must be between the age of 23 and 27 by January 2021
  • Applicant must have a valid birth certificate
  • All applicants must have at least a first degree and not less than Second Class Lower Division and HND not less than Lower Credit for arts, sciences or humanities from an accredited institution of learning
  • Candidates must submit a Letter of Attestation from their former institution of learning
  • All Candidates must not have tattoo write on any part of their body
  • Candidates must have an NYSC discharge certificate or a certificate of exemption
  • Candidates must not be a member of any cult/secret society/fraternity.

How to apply Nigeria Army Recruitment

  • If you be an interested and eligible candidate, visit the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal, and apply online through recruitment.army.mil.ng and select either SSC or DSSC option from the page.
  • After that, choose any course you want to qualify for
  • Apply for the course and note that the application is totally free of charge
  • In filling the Nigerian Army Recruitment Form, the applicants need to upload documents like Passport Photograph, Educational certificates, Evidence of membership any professional body, Certificate of State of Origin, Birth certificate or age declaration.
  • Applicants must print out the online generated slip after the application is completed.
  • The first slip must be signed by a Registrar of any Court of Law, while the applicants Local Government Chairman/Secretary or any military officer of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent and above will  sign the second page
  • All applications must be submitted before the closing date to avoid rejection.
